| Sirius Black. Pureblood. Animagus. Gryffindor. Marauder. Born in 1960 to parents Orion [d. 1979] and Wallburga [d. 1987] Black. One sibling, younger brother Regulus [d. 1979]. Was first Gryffindor in family. Ran away at 16 and considered a 'blood traitor', blasted off family tapestry. After murder of James and Lily Potter [Halloween 1981] was believed to have betrayed them and sentenced to life in Azkaban Prison without trial, despite his innocence. Held for 12 years prior to escaping in 1993 after recognizing the true killer and traitor, Peter Pettigrew, in a photograph. During the Battle of the Department of Mysteries [June 1996], was attacked by his cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange, and fell backwards into a mysterious archway and beyond a veil, into the other side, apparently to his death. Or was it? |
